CURRENT VACANCIES

Residential Conveyancing Lawyer

Due to a restructure of our Property Department we are currently seeking experienced Residential Property Lawyers to join our Residential Conveyancing Teams at our offices based in Daventry and Leamington Spa, with a focus on providing a high quality service to clients, with lower volume caseloads.  

 

As a competent and confident fee earner, you will be comfortable with independently managing a varied, busy case load in a fast-paced environment, dealing with files from instruction to completion.  Experience in all types of domestic conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new builds, remortgages, transfer of equities, equity releases and help to buy matters (purchase, sale and release) is essential.  

 

The successful candidate will have 3+ years PQE, or similar experience in a Fee Earning role, have excellent attention to detail, the ability to build strong client relationships and possess exceptional interpersonal skills. You will be familiar with using case management systems and have excellent IT literacy.  

 

You will be joining a modern and dynamic Residential Conveyancing Team, which consists of both qualified and non-qualified Fee Earners and you will have full support from legal assistants within the department to ensure that you can always provide the highest level of service to your clients.

Commercial Property Solicitor

The ideal candidate will be based at our Daventry office and as well as working with the Partners in the team, will also handle their own varied caseload which will include the opportunity to work on a broad range of commercial property matters ranging from landlord and tenant transactions to commercial property finance work.

 

They will be able to work well in a team as well as independently, have excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues, proactively promote the Firm, be able to provide sound advice and deliver the best outcome for our clients on all matters.

Property Assistant

We are seeking a Property Assistant to support the Property Department on a full time, permanent basis. (No remote working available).

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in residential conveyancing. You will be required to have efficient typing skills and be able to work within a team.

You will be joining a close knit, friendly team in a relaxed and supportive environment!

Duties include:

  • To provide admin support and assistance to the fee-earners under supervision with the full range of conveyancing procedures from commencement to finish.
  • To deal with clients, mortgage providers, estate agents, brokers and other Solicitors by phone, in person and by correspondence as necessary to keep them updated of all progress/changes within each transaction/matter.
  • To provide general administrative support to the fee-earners to include typing of audio dictation as and when required.
  • To prepare documents and correspondence including preparing mail and enclosures
  • Copying and filing.
  • Opening and closing files.
  • Dealing with credit and debit balances and ledger reviews.
  • Making appointments when required to do so.
  • Any other tasks reasonably requested or directed to do so, including admin support to other fee earners and other departments if there is a need.
