Rollasons Solicitors LLP is a well-established legal firm, having opened in Daventry in 1994, Leamington Spa in 2009, and Lutterworth in 2023.  We have vast experience in dealing with family law, wills and probate, residential conveyancing, commercial property, and dispute resolution and are proud to service both the local and wider community. Our staff are approachable, friendly, and easily accessible.

Jo Caddoo – Partner

Jo is a Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEX), qualifying in 1997 and a Licensed Probate Practitioner (CLC). Jo heads the Private Client Department within the Firm. She has extensive experience in all aspects of private client work. She is proud to be a fully accredited Member of Solicitors for the Elderly and holds the SFE Older Client Care in Practice Award. Jo is part of the Free Wills Network which is made up of 864 firms of Solicitors supporting 211 national charities and is also involved in the Will to Remember Scheme partnering with the Alzheimer’s Society. She is also a Dementia Friend.

Jo believes in sensible, practical advice delivered in a professional but caring way. She believes soft skills are very important and has undertaken specialist training in awareness of mental health problems, covering a range of 12 different mental health conditions. Seeing someone about your legal affairs should not be daunting or frightening in any way and having the skills to be able to make adjustments and provide safe environments makes all the difference.

Jo is also joint Managing Partner with Kam Vara and together they deal with the day to day running of the Firm.

Kam Vara – Partner

Kam joined Rollasons in 2014 and heads up our Property department. He specialises in advising our clients on all aspects of Commercial Property and Commercial Property Finance matters.  Kam is also joint Managing Partner with Jo Caddoo and together they deal with the day to day running of the Firm.

Peter Rollason – Partner

Peter went to Coventry University (formerly Lanchester Polytechnic) and Chester Law School; serving his articles in Leamington Spa. During his lengthy career he has worked in Leamington Spa, Banbury and Daventry and specialises in commercial and agricultural property combined with business sales and acquisitions.  In his spare time he enjoys Real Tennis, Walking and Skiing.

Lauren Quinn – Partner

Lauren is a  Partner and manages the Residential Conveyancing Department. Having worked in the industry for 25 years, she is highly experienced in advising clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process including, freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new builds, remortgages and transfer of equity cases. She deals with complex cases and oversees the residential property teams across our three offices in Daventry, Lutterworth, and Leamington Spa, to ensure clients receive the best service possible.

Stuart Love – Partner

Stuart specialises in commercial litigation, acting for a wide range of clients from PLCs to owner run businesses. With nearly 20 years’ experience, Stuart advises clients on contract disputes, business ownership disputes/unfair prejudice claims, contentious insolvency, debt collection and professional negligence.

Recently as a result of Covid-19, Stuart has also been advising clients in relation to claims against insurers for failure to pay out claims in relation to Business Interruption Insurance.

Becky Moore – Commercial Property Assistant

Becky joined our Commercial Property team in January 2025 as a Commercial Property Assistant. Becky has worked in the conveyancing field for over ten years and developed her love of property law whilst working with Index Property. In her spare time, she loves to get involved with group exercise classes at the gym, cooking, and gardening.

Sarah Faulkner

Practice Manager

Sarah joined Rollasons in July 2018.  Sarah’s background is in financial services and she has held a Financial Planning Certificate since 2000.  Sarah has held company directorships and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Practice. Sarah is also responsible for Staff Welfare.  In her spare time Sarah enjoys keeping fit and spending time with her family and pugs Vader and Kylo.

Jayne Kilsby

Conveyancer

Jayne joined Rollasons in 2022 and has over 25 years experience in residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfer of equity.  Having worked for local firms she has acquired significant knowledge of the local property market.

In her spare time Jayne enjoys running, yoga and spending time with friends and family.

Fiona Russell

Private Client Lawyer

Fiona joined Rollasons in November 2021 and has worked in the law for over 40 years. Her clients appreciate her friendly, helpful and warm manner.  Fiona believes in practical, sensible solutions to problems. A typical day for Fiona will be a mixture of client meetings, telephone calls, and drafting of documents. Fiona is a trained Dementia Friend and believes this has added to her legal skillset and has experience in all aspects of Private Client law.

Matt Smith

Consultant

Matt specialises in dispute resolution with a focus on commercial, property and probate disputes. He acts for a wide range of clients from private individuals and SMEs to large corporate entities, including banks, hoteliers, entrepreneurs and property developers.
Matt adopts a commercial approach to resolving disputes and is a keen advocate of Alternative Dispute Resolution, having successfully resolved many disputes by mediation. Matt carefully considers a client’s objectives at the outset and is focused on resolving a dispute at the earliest possible opportunity.

Stuart Crumpler

Private Client Solicitor

Stuart qualified as a solicitor in 2006. Since qualifying he has specialised in private client matters, dealing with Wills, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection applications, and dealing with the administration of estates. Stuart is experienced in administering simple and complex estates both where there is a Will and when the estate is subject to the rules of intestacy. In his spare time, Stuart enjoys walking, gardening, reading and cooking.

Emma Bateman

Chartered Legal Executive

Emma joined Rollasons as part of our merger with Melkerts Solicitors in 2023. Emma originally provided administrative support, but progressing to work through her CILEX examinations and successfully qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2019.

Since joining Rollasons, Emma has decided to specialise in Residential Property Conveyancing.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves to travel and explore new places as well as being a keen supporter of Leicester City Football Club.

Matt Crosse

Consultant

Matt works with SME’s and business owners on business/company sales and purchases, raising investment, bank funding, and shareholder agreements. He also advises on general compliance with the Companies Act. He qualified as a solicitor in 1996.

Julia Bellamy

Commercial Property Consultant

Julia specialises in Commercial Property and is passionate in all areas of Property Law. Julia works with a range of clients from private individuals to companies and property developers. Her approach to property transactions is friendly and approachable whilst ensuring all commercial aspects are considered together with her client’s objectives. Julia works on a range of transactions – from buying and selling property and/or land to advising on title queries, licences, and all aspects relating to commercial leases. Her favourite area is Landlord & Tenant work and she likes nothing more than reviewing and negotiating a lease.

Neil Cowley

Family Consultant

Neil has specialist knowledge in a range of family law matters, including divorce and separation, same sex marriage and civil partnerships, finances on divorce and separation, child matters, cohabitation agreements, pre and post nuptial agreements, domestic abuse and consent orders. Neil will also be looking to continue to grow our client base and extend the family services to meet client needs.

Maya joined the firm in 2022 after finishing her law degree at university and is now a paralegal at the firm. She is now working towards her LPC. In her spare time she enjoys going on walks, second-hand shopping and, spending time with her family and friends.

Gemma Kirby

Marketing Executive

Gemma joined us in 2023 as a Marketing Executive. She has worked at leading law firms in Northamptonshire and gained experience working within different legal sectors. Gemma has a flair for creativity which enables her to create unique designs for all our marketing needs. In her spare time she loves to travel the world and is frequently sharing pictures with us of her most recent trips.

Rebecca Marmeliuc

Conveyancing Assistant

Rebecca graduated from Anglia Ruskin University in 2020 with a 2:1 in Law. She has worked on all types of residential conveyancing matters from freehold sales, to complex leasehold purchases. Rebecca is not afraid of a challenge and loves sinking her teeth into complex cases. Outside of work, she loves to watch the F1 racing and cook delicious meals for her family.

Natalia Gasior

Commercial Paralegal

Natalia comes from Poland and has lived in UK since 2004, she is fluent in both Polish and English. Natalia joined the firm in 2022 as a paralegal in Commercial Property. Having gained valuable experience in the past 8 years, Natalia is keen to work toward becoming a solicitor. Outside of work Natalia enjoys baking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Jane Moore

Legal Cashier

Jane, is a fully qualified Legal Cashier and has been with the practice since 1998 when she joined the Practice as receptionist, a position she enjoyed for many years. As our Legal Cashier, Jane is no longer ‘front of house’ but she is happy that she still sees the clients quite regularly when helping out on reception providing a warm welcome for those who visit our office.

Legal Secretary

Katy joined Rollasons in March 2000.  She qualified as a Legal Secretary in 2008.  Katy assists with providing support within the Private Clients and Dispute Resolution Department.  Outside of work Katy enjoys spending time with her daughter, husband and family.

Finance Assistant

Megan joined Rollasons on an Apprenticeship in July 2021. She successfully completed her Apprenticeship in October 2022 and is now an integral part of the Rollasons Business Support Team.  In her spare time Megan enjoys spending time with her family and beloved pets.

Lisa Garrett

Residential Conveyancer

Lisa has over twenty years’ experience as a residential conveyancer and manager.  Lisa recently joined the firm as a Residential Conveyancer, she enjoys the buzz of conveyancing and helping clients through what can often be a stressful journey.

When Lisa is not at work, she is busy doing lots of things with her family and little boy. Lisa loves socialising with her friends and family. When she does have spare time, Lisa enjoy days out, swimming, getting out in the fresh air in the countryside on long walks, reading and helping with the school PTA.

Lily joined Rollason’s in July 2024 and works within the conveyancing department. Lily is studying toward her Level 3 Apprenticeship to become a Paralegal. In her spare time Lily enjoys travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

Jon Hallett

Consultant

Jon qualified in 1995 and has specialised in employment law since 1998, and he holds a Masters degree in Employment Law (LLM) from the University of Leicester. His experience includes contentious and non- contentious work, for a wide range of businesses.

Jon’s work has included preparing and negotiating service and employment contracts, staff policies and procedures, and providing day-to-day HR guidance, as well as negotiating severance arrangements and agreements for businesses and for individuals.

In his spare time Jon sings with local choirs, plays the piano, and composes music. He is also a keen amateur historian.
