Peter Rollason – Partner
Peter went to Coventry University (formerly Lanchester Polytechnic) and Chester Law School; serving his articles in Leamington Spa. During his lengthy career he has worked in Leamington Spa, Banbury and Daventry and specialises in commercial and agricultural property combined with business sales and acquisitions. In his spare time he enjoys Real Tennis, Walking and Skiing.
Jo Caddoo – Partner
Jo qualified in 1997 and is a Chartered Legal Executive. She has also been a fully accredited Member of Solicitors for the Elderly since 2012. Jo heads the Private Client Department within the Firm. Jo is also joint Managing Partner with Kam Vara and together they deal with the day to day running of the Firm. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, crochet and cross stitch.
Kam Vara – Partner
Kam joined Rollasons in 2014 and heads up our Property department. He specialises in advising our clients on all aspects of Commercial Property and Commercial Property Finance matters. Kam is also joint Managing Partner with Jo Caddoo and together they deal with the day to day running of the Firm.
Mark Bellamy – Partner
Mark qualified as a solicitor in 1985 having graduated with a Law Degree in 1982 and undertaking the solicitors final exam. He has worked primarily in residential work since qualifying. He has worked at two firms since qualifying undertaking residential conveyancing work. Mark joined Rollasons as a Partner in 2009. Mark enjoys sailing in his spare time.
Elizabeth Williams – Partner
Liz Williams specialises in Commercial Property, she joined Rollasons in October 2018 and is based at our Leamington Office. She looks after a wide range of clients including small businesses, pension funds, investors and developers. Sarah joined Rollasons in July 2018. Sarah’s background is in financial services and she has held a Financial Planning Certificate since 2000. Sarah has held company directorships and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Practice. Sarah is also responsible for Staff Welfare. In her spare time Sarah enjoys keeping fit and spending time with her family and pug Vader.
Jane, is a fully qualified Legal Cashier and has been with the practice since 1998 when she joined the Practice as receptionist, a position she enjoyed for many years. As our Legal Cashier, Jane is no longer ‘front of house’ but she is happy that she still sees the clients quite regularly when helping out on reception.
Becky joined Rollasons in March 2019, she qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2009 following graduating from Northampton University with a Law Degree in 2005. Becky has worked primarily in residential Conveyancing since qualifying. Becky enjoys spending her spare time with her young daughter and their two Dachshunds.
Sanjeet is a Solicitor who qualified in 2005 initially into family law. In 2015 Sanjeet expressed an interest in private client work and began the process of converting. Sanjeet completed her conversion course in 2017 and joined Rollasons in October 2018 where she now works full time in the private client department.
Chartered Legal Executive
Saira qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2004. Saira has worked in private and public practice since 1992 and has a vast amount of experience in different areas of law. Saira joined Rollasons in 2019 and specialises in family law. Saira’s interests include travelling, languages and music.
Lauren joined Rollasons in 2013 as a secretary and has worked in the Property Department undertaking a mixed caseload of residential and commercial transactions, whilst studying her Chartered Institute of Legal Executive course, which she is due to graduate from in 2020. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with family, socialising with friends and travelling.
Sally joined Rollasons as a Consultant in January 2018 although does have a much longer working relationship with Rollasons. With nearly 30 years’ experience Sally handles some of our more complex transactions including commercial, agricultural property and listed buildings. In 2000 Sally spent 3 years focussing solely on leasehold properties buying and selling in Canary Wharf.
Matt specialises in dispute resolution with a focus on commercial, property and probate disputes. He acts for a wide range of clients from private individuals and SMEs to large corporate entities, including banks, hoteliers, entrepreneurs and property developers.
Matt adopts a commercial approach to resolving disputes and is a keen advocate of Alternative Dispute Resolution, having successfully resolved many disputes by mediation. Matt carefully considers a client’s objectives at the outset and is focused on resolving a dispute at the earliest possible opportunity. Away from work, Matt spends his time with his wife and twin sons, and occasionally on the golf course.
Richard is a Chartered Company Secretary and law graduate. He was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Secretaries in 1992 and specialises in corporate and commercial work. He has over 25 years’ experience of advising on commercial transactions and negotiating, drafting and/or reviewing the documents that underpin those transactions.
Richard is a great believer in getting work/life balance right and outside of work he enjoys rugby (as a spectator these days!), cycling, walking and travelling
Belinda joined Rollasons in February 2019. Belinda graduated with a Law Degree in 2012 and was working as a Paralegal in Immigration, she will undertake CILEX final exams in 2020. She is currently working as a Paralegal in the Dispute Resolution Department, she holds her caseload mainly in Family law as well training in Litigation. In her spare time she writes Poetry, some of which has been published in South Africa and the UK.
Sandra joined Rollasons in October 2018, is based at our Leamington Spa Office and is currently supporting the Commercial Property Department. Sandra has Law Degree from the University of Warwick and is currently completing the Legal Practice Course and Master of Laws – part-time, to qualify as a solicitor. Sandra deals with a wide range of clients including small businesses, pension funds, investors, developers, business leases and sales and purchases of land.
Ali joined the firm in 2004 as a Conveyancing Assistant. Ali’s main responsibility within the Property Department is to oversee all Post Completion registrations at HM Land Registry. Ali also assists Property Fee Earners in both Commercial and Residential Conveyancing transactions. Ali’s interests and hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, holidays and socialising.
Hayley joined the firm as a property assistant in 2014. She primarily assists the Head of the Property Department, Kam Vara. Hayley enjoys spending time with her family, keeping fit and socialising with friends.
Dorina joined Rollasons in 2018 in the property team. She works closely with Becky and enjoys all aspects of her role.
Helen joined Rollasons in 2013 having worked in the legal sector for over 20 years. In her spare time she enjoys reading, baking cakes, cross stitch and spending time with her family.
Bianca joined the firm in September 2019 as a secretary in the Private Client department.
Outside of work Bianca enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
Debbie joined the firm in September 2019 as a secretary in the Private Client department.
Outside of work Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, crocheting and knitting.
Katy joined Rollasons in March 2000. She qualified as a Legal Secretary in 2008. Katy is currently on maternity leave.
Ali joined the firm as a secretary in July 2019. She primarily assists the Head of the Family Department, Saira Roper. Ali enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with friends.
Joanna joined Rollasons in October 2019 and is working in the Property Team, primarily supporting Kam Vara.
Georgie joined Rollasons in November 2019 as our Receptionist. She enjoys going to the cinema, eating out and spending time with her family.
